Let’s chat Epilepsy, that seizure one, that invisible illness one…
Sometimes having been told you can’t do something in life makes you want to do it even more..
Epilepsy was always somewhere within, I felt somewhat different without really consciously knowing. It wasn’t a straightforward thing, despite seeing some of the best medics, it always seemed to result in endless inconclusive tests and questions remained unanswered.
Time passed and life changed, it was different somehow and it meant having to understand medications and side effects along with generally living with aspects tainted by anxiety and uncertainty. Epilepsy Society saw me through. They’ve truly helped to turn my life around and I know this had a knock on effect with my closest family and friends too.
They work tirelessly making such a significant impact and back then made so many of those sad days happier back then. I wasn’t constantly counting each month before seizures arose but here I am, let alone a month clear.
I’ve made 5 years seizure clear and I know how fortunate I am. So I want to give back. Please support me if you can, every donation is appreciated.
Despite being an adrenaline junkie, I’m feeling the feels. The impossible has now become possible. Let’s do this…
