We believe in the power of football to transform people’s lives for the better.

Story

Stephen and Karen from Emmaus Burnley are sleeping out at Burnley FC’s Turf Moor stadium on October 13 to raise funds for people building back from homelessness.

There are many reasons why someone is forced into homelessness. Emmaus provides a safe place to live, personalised support and opportunities to progress for up to 50 people in Lancashire.

A donation of £5 buys two meals for one person supported by Emmaus. £10 pays for travel to Emmaus Burnley for a homeless person and £15 helps someone feel more valued with a counselling session.

Emmaus is more than just a bed for the night, it provides the stability and support to help our companions move forward towards a brighter future.
