Abstract
I am thrilled to be participating in a tandem skydiving event to support two Emmaus Communities: Oxford and Norfolk & Waveney. The work that Emmaus does for the community is truly inspiring, and I am honoured to have the opportunity to fundraise for such a meaningful organisation.
Altogether, with a target amount of £400 to raise for both communities, every contribution makes a significant impact. Your support will directly benefit the initiatives that Emmaus Oxford and Norfolk & Waveney provide to empower individuals who have been formerly homeless.
This means that the total amount will be split between the two communities, and this fundraising page is dedicated to Emmaus Oxford. Here's another page for Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney: https://www.justgiving.com/page/emmausnorfolkwaveney
I am deeply grateful for any donation you can make towards this cause. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those who need it most. Thank you for considering my fundraising efforts, and I appreciate your generosity from the bottom of my heart.
About Emmaus Oxford
Emmaus Oxford provides support to up to 28 individuals who have been formerly homeless.
They provide a real, alternative solution to homelessness that works; providing people with a home for as long as they need it, and meaningful work opportunities in one of our social enterprises where they gain valuable experience, new skills and a route into independence.
Their local store raises vital funds for the charity. The shop is a treasure trove of high-quality, pre-loved furniture, as well as a great place to browse vintage household items, clothing, and bric-a-brac.
Here's a short film explaining what Emmaus Oxford does:
Why am I fundraising for two Emmaus Communities?
I have always wanted to skydive, and I believe this goal can be achieved through my fundraising platform. As I was a former victim of homelessness, now I am being supported by Emmaus, which has helped people over the years to overcome homelessness and move on to something better. With your donations, you could help someone like me achieve their future ambitions.
