Earlier this year, I had the privilege of travelling to Kolkata with Global Fund for Children (GFC) and seeing first-hand the incredible impact of their work. We met children and young people from a range of communities, including Kolkata's red-light district and rural villages where families are forced to relocate every year due to monsoon flooding. Their resilience, optimism and determination were genuinely inspiring.

That's why this challenge means so much to me. Throughout September, the Ivy House team will be walking, running, cycling and swimming the 7,980km from London to Kolkata to raise money for GFC.
