Story
On 31st May 2026, I will be undertaking the Montane Trail Ultra; a 33.5 mile route following the Ullswater Way and taking in the Lowther Loop and the Dalemain Loop.
I am doing this in aid of Tiny Lives, the charity my G28 crew have supported for 3 years. They have raised £3500 in that time through a variety of fantastic events.
Ullswater is a special place for us at XPG as it is where our school was born. We formed our Crew around that gorgeous lake and I’m excited to take on this challenge in that environment.
This Ultra will fall during May half term, when the members of Crew Stanton will be in the trenches of GCSE revision. So I am also running this for them; to show them how proud I am of all they’ve achieved and that there is more in them than they know.
Tiny Lives is a charitable trust that helps to care for 800+ premature and sick newborn babies and their families each year. It supports the Newcastle Neonatal Service at Newcastle Royal Victoria Infirmary that cares for babies from across the North East and Cumbria.
