Story
Last year, my sister and her husband had to say goodbye to their daughter, Matilda. At her twelve‑week scan, they were told something was wrong. Further tests showed she wasn’t developing as she should, and she was born at 17 weeks. It has been an incredibly hard experience for them, yet I’m really proud of the way they’ve chosen to focus on what good can come from it — supporting research, raising awareness, and fundraising so other families can be helped.
Pregnancy and baby loss leaves families facing a kind of grief that’s often invisible from the outside. Making Miracles provides specialist counselling and practical support to help people through those moments with care and understanding.
To raise money for this incredible charity, I’m taking on the End to End Challenge: a month‑long solo cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats. I’ll be sharing my training, preparation and journey on Instagram, and I’d love people to follow along. If you’re able to donate, please do — every contribution no matter how small helps us move closer to our £10,000 target for Making Miracles and supports families who need specialist care during incredibly difficult times.
