Million Step Team Challenge

From 1st to 31st May 2025 we are undertaking a Million Step Team Challenge. Our mission is to collectively conquer one million steps throughout the month - that's just over 8,000 steps a day!

The exciting virtual route begins at the historic Euston Station and culminates in the Northeast, the very birth place of passenger rail at Shildon.

We have two teams of four taking part, the Stepgineers and the enGenius.

We are doing this to raise money for the Railway Benefit Fund and also raise awareness of the fantastic work they do supporting current, former and retired railway people and their families across the UK.
