The Charity

I am raising money for my local hospitals who are looking to enhance the dedicated outdoor play areas at Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Children’s wards; Safari (for inpatients) and Dolphin’s (for outpatients). Any raised funds will go towards purchasing play equipment for these outdoor areas and help to enhance the experience of our young patients’ during their visits to hospital. The charity is also looking to improve the rest areas at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to make the parents stay a little bit more welcoming during their visits to the unit.

The Challenge

My challenge involves 3 days of cycling in France visiting the D Day beaches. The trip starts at Caen and ends at St Malo and will cover around 300k. I'm not a regular cyclist so this will need a lot of training and spin classes at the gym!
