This special appeal is dedicated to supporting TheRockinR Gaming Charity, founded by Jess Miree, a much-loved member of our freelance TEEm, and her father, Jonny. Jess created the charity in memory of her younger brother, Reece, who tragically passed away at just 11 years old after being diagnosed with a DIPG brain tumor.

Reece, known by his gamer tag “TheRockinR,” found comfort and joy in gaming, even during his toughest days. The charity honors his legacy by providing Medical Gaming Carts to hospitals, giving children and young people access to gaming during their hospital stays. These carts help to reduce isolation, stress, and anxiety, providing moments of connection, happiness, and normality for young patients and their families.

We’re aiming to raise £3,000 to fund one of these life-changing gaming carts. Jess’s courage and dedication in creating this charity is an inspiration, and we hope you’ll join us in honoring Reece’s memory and supporting children across the UK and Ireland.
