Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.

20 plucky volunteers (supported by 4 drivers) from South Humber Bank Power Station have agreed to undertake the task of completing the National 3 Peaks Challenge commencing on Fri 17th May 2024.

Considered one of Britain's toughest outdoor challenges, the National 3 Peaks Challenge takes in the dizzy heights of Ben Nevis (1,344m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) (1,085m). Over the course of this task, we will trek around 26 miles and ascend to a total height of almost 3,000m.

All of this is being done to raise money for the Rock Foundation UK.

The Rock Foundation was created to provide a new and unique provision for young people and adults with learning disabilities and those who are disadvantaged with the aim to develop life and employment skills, to increase their self-esteem and independence, and ultimately improve their quality of life.
