Story
What are we doing ?
Anthony and Nick are preparing to take on an incredible paramotor adventure to raise awareness and funds for the amazing mental health charity, Mind. Their journey will see them fly from Land’s End across the UK, cross the Channel by ferry to Caen, and then continue their expedition through France all the way to Paramotor France in Combiers.
Why are we doing it?
This is far more than just a flight. It is a journey built around friendship, resilience, adventure, and shining a light on the importance of mental health and support for those who may be struggling.
Can I come and support you?
The final stage of the adventure is planned to be something truly special. Anthony and Nick will fly into an airfield approximately 20 kilometres from Paramotor France, where members of two local French paramotor clubs, led by world champion Pascal Vallée, will join them for the last leg of the flight. Together, the group will fly in formation like a gaggle of geese across the beautiful Charente countryside before landing in a local field in Combiers, kindly supported by the local mayor and village community.
To celebrate their arrival and help raise even more money for Mind, we are planning a welcoming community event with a barbecue, live music, refreshments, and local residents, friends, family, pilots, and supporters all coming together to support this fantastic cause. Donations raised throughout the event will go directly towards supporting mental health awareness and the incredible work carried out by Mind.
We are proud to support Anthony and Nick in every way possible during this challenge and are honoured to help create what we hope will be a memorable and inspiring finish to their journey
