Story
From 1st to 31st May, as part of the Equal Experts walkathon, we’ll be stepping our way around the globe (again!), competing in teams, raising money for charity, and having some fun along the way.
One of our chosen charities is Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders and we are raising as much money as possible to support this great cause.
Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation.
They provide emergency assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics and natural or man-made disasters, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
They work in over 70 countries and go to the places where others cannot or choose not to go.
- £6 could pay for seven oxygen masks
- £10 could provide eight dressings for wounds
- £17 could provide two leg splints to treat fractures
- £50 can pay for dressing kits to treat 42 war-wounded people
- £95 provides a year’s supply of antiretroviral drugs for one person living with HIV/AIDS
- £153 buys a basic surgical kit, enabling an MSF surgeon to carry out surgery
Every step counts, literally. Support your walkathon colleagues, friends and family members by donating to this worthy cause.
