Equinox 24 running challenge for Ian · 20 September 2025

We want to ensure that every patient at Addenbrooke's and the Rosie hospitals experiences the highest quality of care available. We raise funds for cutting edge technology, additional specialist staff and extra comforts for patients, over and above what is possible with NHS funding alone.

Story

A group of us from Huntingdonshire Athletics, Brj and Friends and family are running Equinox 24 this September to raise money for charities close to the hearts of two of our dear friends and fellow runners, who sadly died in the last year at such young ages.

Anna Douglas was in her early 30’s looking forward to all life had to give, when she sadly became ill and lost her fight.

Ian Marshall left behind his wife and two children when he passed away from renal cancer in his 40s.

Both Anna and Ian loved running and had a zest for life and caring nature that is rare. Please help us to raise some money for their chosen charities by supporting us at Equinox 24 and donating what you can.

Equinox 24 is a 24 hour running challenge where runners will run as many laps as they can in 24 hours. We have a number of Solo runners who will attempt this alone, pairs who will take turns to run laps and teams of 3-8 people who will pass the baton each lap.
