In memory of Richard Belshaw (Dad) and Audrey Allen (work colleague)
Story
My Dad (Richard Belshaw) was truly an inspiration, who completed countless marathons, but unfortunately I didn't inherit his running genes! However, I have always wanted to complete a marathon in his memory, so I've signed up for what will hopefully be a slightly easier alternative - Macmillan's Mighty (Marathon) Hike in the Wye Valley on 9th September 2023.
Macmillan were there to support and comfort my Dad in his final days and I love finding ways to give back to this very worthy charity.
I am also completing this marathon hike in memory of one of my work colleagues (Audrey Allen) who sadly passed away (also cancer) earlier this year.
Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
