Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge · 15 September 2023

The charity's three helicopters and four rapid response vehicles operate 365 days a year, with doctors and paramedics on board providing enhanced prehospital care to people across the entire North West region.

Story

The North West Air Ambulance Charity receives no government or NHS funding and has to raise £12 million every year to keep operational.

We are taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge which is 24-miles (38.6km) round trip route, and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent to make a life saving difference and ensure the most advanced medical crew and equipment can continue to be there for people across the North West when they need it most.

The North West Air Ambulance bring the hospital to the patient and can provide surgical interventions, blood transfusions as well as lifesaving procedures at the roadside to increase the chance of survival.

Every penny makes a difference to the work that the charity can do so thank you for your support.
