This isn't just a walk.

It's about Access. Opportunity. And the right to stay in education.

Glasgow Caledonian University opened its doors 150 years ago to educate working-class women and improve family life. A radical, purpose-driven mission that still defines the university today.

But here's the reality:

Over 70% of students have considered dropping out due to financial pressure.

Not because they lack ability.

Not because they lack ambition.

But because they simply can't afford to continue.

And that's something we cannot ignore.

So we're walking to support the GCU Foundation — helping students stay in education and fulfil their potential, continuing that legacy of the Common Good.
