Erin’s Marathon Journey for MIND 💙🏃🏽♀️
If you know me you’ll know that running has never been my thing. The only running I usually do is to catch the train lol. So why on earth am I signing up to run 26.2 miles?
Well it’s not because I love pain (although I might question that halfway through training). It’s because I’m raising money for MIND a charity that’s close to my heart.
I’ve struggled with anxiety and depression for many years and I know how tough it can be to keep going when your mind is working against you. There were times when getting out of bed felt harder than any marathon could ever be. But over time I’ve learned that small steps literally and mentally really do make a difference.
So this is me taking a very big step. Running a marathon is going to be a massive challenge but I’m doing it for everyone who’s fighting their own mental battles.
Every mile (and every blister) will be worth it if it helps MIND continue their amazing work supporting people who need it most.
If you’d like to sponsor me please do, not just to support the cause but also to see me actually do this!
Thank you so much for your support, your donations and your faith in me (hopefully) Let’s do this! One wobbly step at a time! 💙
