Help me raise funds for the important work that Happy Doggo is doing for street dogs in Thailand and around the world!

I have worked and volunteered in animal rescue for a long time, rescued two dogs of my own, and I am amazed by the work that Happy Doggo is doing. Beyond adoptions, they are doing some of the most impactful work in animal welfare, and while it began in Thailand, the impact is expanding globally.

There are an estimated 200 - 300 million stray and free-roaming dogs around the world. Street dogs face hunger, suffer from preventable medical issues, and are in danger from both humans and other animals alike. Many of these dogs can not just be adopted and rehomed as they would never be happy in a home or domestic environment.

I started following Happy Doggo years ago, when I watched Niall feed street dogs every morning. I was blown away by his daily commitment to dogs that were forgotten by so many, and have loved watching the mission and the infrastructure grow.

To-date, they have sterilized nearly 170,000 dogs globally, preventing hundreds of thousands of future litters that is truly the only way to fix the global street dog problem. They also provide routine medical care and vaccinations, and take in some of the most dire medical cases, often a result of human cruelty. They are in the process of building a hospital that will help even more dogs in need. And, they are also working on community engagement and education efforts locally, to make lasting change in future generations.

I am running my fourth marathon in October a the Marine Corps Marathon, and my goal is to raise $1,000 while training for the marathon for this incredible organization.
