I’ll be running the Great North Run this year alongside family, to raise funds for Marie Curie and in memory of my Nana and Jack’s Grandad John, who both sadly passed away after battles with Cancer. My Nana had and still has a huge influence in all of our lives, especially in my studies and career. Both of their unwavering love and support is such a motivation to challenge ourselves and raise money to support families and patients through a similar situation.

Being a companion volunteer with Marie Curie, I’ve seen first hand how incredible their care and support is, for both patients and their families. Donations will help them continue their amazing efforts to provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time. Even something as small as a phone call from Marie Curie goes an incredibly long way.
