Story
I’m proud to be taking part in Miles that Matter for Miscarriage UK – joining others in walking 42 miles in July. My average of 1.4 miles a day will reflect the 1 in 4 pregnancies which are estimated to result in baby loss, raising awareness of the vital support services the charity offers, and raising funds to ensure they can be there for those who need them most.
Unfortunately, in April 2026 my pregnancy became one of the 1 in 4, so this challenge is very close to my heart.
By taking on this challenge and supporting Miscarriage UK, I'm helping to ensure no one has to face pregnancy loss alone – and by making a donation to my page you are helping to fund their support services, trusted information and campaigning work, while raising awareness of an experience that is still too often misunderstood.
Together, we can make sure no one faces pregnancy loss alone.
