In August 2025 I am aiming to take part in a relay swim across the English Channel.

Following a successful selection day in November, I have been placed into a team with 5 others. The relay will involve swimming for 1 hour each from Dover in rotation until we reach France. As per CS&PF regulations wetsuits/any form of neoprene are not permitted, so will only be wearing swimming costume, goggles and hat! Whilst I am a regular pool swimmer, I hate the cold and normally float about in the sea, rather than swim - therefore this relay swim and all of the prep leading up to it is going to be an immense challenge!

I will be raising money for Aspire. They are a charity that provide practical support for people who have sustained spinal cord injuries. Approximately 4,400 people sustain a spinal cord injury in the UK each year. Any donations are greatly appreciated. Please see links below for more information on the incredible work Aspire do.
