Story

In May 2026, Ill be taking on a challenge with a group of my wonderful colleagues that is well outside my comfort zone: cycling from London to Amsterdam to raise vital funds for Action Bladder Cancer UK.

Why This Matters to Me

Cancer is a cause that is incredibly close to my heart. Over the years, both I and several of my family/friend members have been personally impacted by this disease. Having seen the toll it takes firsthand, I am determined to do whatever I can to support those navigating a similar journey.

The Challenge (and the Fear!)

To be completely honest: I am not a cyclist. This is my first time ever attempting road cycling, and the thought of a multi-day trek across borders is genuinely terrifying. Im swapped my usual routine for a bike saddle, and while Im scared, Im motivated by the knowledge that every mile helps a cause that is often overlooked.

Why Action Bladder Cancer UK?

Bladder cancer is one of the 10 most common cancers and the 4th most common for men, yet it remains underfunded and under-researched. Action Bladder Cancer UK is working to change that by:

Raising awareness to improve early diagnosis.

Funding essential research to find better treatments.

Giving patients a stronger voice and the support they deserve.

How You Can Help

Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference. Your support doesn't just help me get to Amsterdam; it helps provide a lifeline to patients and families who need it most.

Thank you so much for your support—it truly means the world to me.
