Having seen first hand the devastating effects of MND, I am keen to do my bit to help the fight against this awful disease! My continued involvement in the world of rugby and the risks now linked to MND I can see no more important cause. With my own son now playing for Minchinhampton Rugby Club and within the Gloucester Development Programme my belief is the focus needs to be on our future stars and how we ensure a fun and safe playing experience throughout their playing days and beyond! This ride though is dedicated to my father-in-law, Mike, who was cruelly taken before his time by MND. I was left in awe of his courage and dignity right to the end! Mike was very passionate about the Cotswold Way and himself walked the full 102 miles so seems fitting that this would be the setting for our challenge!
