Story

Join our incredible CW+ Royal Parks Half Marathon Team 2024 as we come together to raise funds for the 'Thirty at Thirty' campaign. Our goal is to reach £5,000 in support of CW+, the official charity of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Our vision is to ensure that every patient, within our Trust's community of more than a million people and beyond, receives exceptional care. We are on a mission to collaborate with our Trust in creating state-of-the-art facilities, driving innovation and research, and promoting the well-being of both patients and staff. Through our expertise in partnership building, arts in health, and healthcare innovation, we are dedicated to developing creative solutions that bolster an evolving NHS.

I am running with a few of my colleagues in Accident & Emergency department, Franchezca and Joseph, and we are aiming to raise awareness on the importance of well-being and mental health of healthcare workers. Often, we care so much about our patients that sometimes we forget to look after the carers who care for the patients. We are fundraising money so we can create a variety of initiatives in the Emergency Department such as prevention of burnout, managing stress and empowerment of staff. We encourage you to support our cause in developing better strategies for promoting healthy staff well-being.

We are thrilled to be participating in the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2024 - a marathon event scheduled for October 13th, 2024. Our target amount is £500 GBP. Your generous support will help us make a meaningful impact on patient care and healthcare innovation.

Join us in this inspiring journey as we strive to make a difference in the lives of those who depend on exceptional healthcare services.
