So… I’m running the London Marathon 2026!

This is probably a surprise to many who know me, as I am (or was) someone who wouldn't even run for the bus. Therefore, this is a big challenge, but one I am determined to accomplish.

While this is a personal goal to prove to myself I can do anything I put my mind to, running the marathon also has a greater purpose. I get to run for The Salvation Army, raising funds for Matumaini School for Children with Disabilities in Tanzania. This is a place that means a lot to my family.

When my Grandma passed away, donations were sent to the school in her memory. She and my Grandad spent time living in Tanzania in the past, and their connection to the people and the community always came through in their stories. Supporting Matumaini School feels like a meaningful way to carry that legacy forward.

I will be documenting my training journey and will appreciate any sponsorship support.
