Story

Hey Everyone,

I am going to be doing the Kilt Walk this year for a charity that is very close to my heart.

In January 2026 my dad was rushed to hospital and had to undergo over 50 hours of surgery total over 2 months. Upon the first surgery a tumour was found and removed, after some testing this was found to be cancerous.

2 months later, following multiple surgeries, days in the ICU and weeks in the HDU, a million hospital visits from the best daughter ever (me, obviously) and a whole lot of worrying, dad is home and recovering. We still have a long road to being fully recovered ahead, including chemo, however he is on the mend!

Bowel cancer has always been a part of my family, sadly my gran (dads mum) and her dad both passed due to bowel cancer as well.

I hope that by fundraising for this wonderful charity I can help others battle this horrible disease, along with helping spread the word and create more awareness.

Thank you so much for any donations ❤️
