Louise’s Story

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity is incredibly close to my heart as in July 2021 I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Cervical Cancer and was immediately put under the wonderful care of The Royal Marsden.

I braved a 15,000ft skydive and an abseil down the Spinnaker Tower towards raising £22,000 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. As someone afraid of heights, I am incredibly proud to have touched down safely ! A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout all of my fundraising efforts.

I am still a patient of The Royal Marsden and I want to raise money this year so The Royal Marsden can continue to provide world-class treatment, pioneering research and care for their patients.

1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. This quiet fact touches every family, every friendship, every ordinary life ….

Due to its great success last year, we are holding another fun filled afternoon with a quiz, fizz and an afternoon tea.

It would be lovely to see you there, helping support this incredible charity whilst having a fabulous time !
