Story
I am a part of the Welfare team for The Revival Charity Fashion Show, and I will be raising money for RSACC. To do this, for every donation received, I will run to the closest pub! Being on the welfare team, I have a firm understanding of the importance of mental health and how beneficial exercise is for it. I also know how important pub trips are for my mental health! Wherever I am across the island of Jersey, any time someone kindly donates money to my page, I will drop what I am doing and go for a run!
Please donate what you can. RSACC is an incredible charity that relies on your donations, and the work they do is immensely important to help individuals who have been affected by any form of sexual violence.
The Revival is a collaborative, creative and inclusive community of Durham University students who work together to organise a charity fashion show which takes place annually in February.
This year we have partnered with Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre (RSACC) to support the vital work they do, providing counselling and services to survivors across County Durham and Darlington.
By listening, believing and supporting everyone we meet, we hope to empower all survivors to take their first steps towards healing and, in their own time, learn how to live again.
All funds raised by the show and at Revival events throughout the year will help RSACC continue to offer free, safe support to anyone who has experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives.
Our community comprises of 80 student organisers and models who, in addition to their involvement in the show, will be taking on personal fundraising challenges in aid of RSACC.
We thank you in advance for any donations you are able to make to support this incredibly important cause and hope to see you at the show!
