Story
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.
From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer
On the 6th April, Will & I be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon, raising money for the Royal Marsden Hospital and supporting them in the all the amazing work they do. We will be running in memory of Poppa, Alan, Tonky and Will's Auntie Paula. We are especially running for my amazing Mum who continues to be affected by cancer. Mum was first diagnosed with cancer in 2016 and has since undergone chemotherapy, radiotherapy and multiple operations. The last few years have been especially tough but Mum has remained so resilient. We are so grateful to Professor Paleri and the team for the treatment they provided Mum in 2022, and also so thankful to Professor Harrington, Pablo, Shanelle and the team for their ongoing care and support. Mum continues to amaze me with her positivity and I am so proud of her.
