I'm pulling my trainers back on and attempting another couple of half marathons this year to raise money for The Children's Hospital Charity. I was completely overwhelmed by the support I had running the Great North Run last year so I thought I'd do it again!

As many of you know my son Charlie had a very difficult start in life and without the care and life saving treatment he received at Sheffield Children's Hospital he wouldn't be the amazing little boy he is today. In his first year he spent many weeks in hospital, enduring 3 operations on his brain and other serious admissions with chest infections and complications of his surgery. It was a terribly difficult time which has changed our family forever. I hope you can support me again in my attempt raise money to support Sheffield Children's Hospital in the work they do to care for our local children and their families.
