I am here to raise money for Cancer Research UK to increase awareness and help the cause of defeating cancer. This is something that has had an impact on me personally due to my father having cancer when I was young as well as several other people in my family who had/have cancer and have to deal with the pain and struggles of having it every day. Statistically in the UK alone 460 people die every day with cancer which is a staggering amount. Due to this and with cancer affecting me and my family as well as most families out there I believe this is the best charity for me to raise money for in this event.
