My name is Ethan and I am 9 years old.

Recently I went to watch my Uncle Bill and P.E teacher run the London marathon and I was so inspired by all the people that took part for different reasons and charities.

When my mum and dad told me about this mini marathon for the hospice I couldn’t wait to sign up.

I am doing this run in memory of my Grandad Dinh who we sadly lost to Cancer 2 years ago. He was the best and I miss him more and more everyday. He fought so hard throughout his illness and never gave up. And I will use that as my inspiration when running the 2.62miles hoping I will make him proud.

I wanted to ask my family and friends to help me raise money for the Greenwich and Bexley community hospice so they can continue to help terminally ill people like my Grandad in our local community.
