Story

I have decided that I will be running 150k in March to raise money for Children with Cancer. I decided a while ago that I wanted to raise money for a Cancer charity as Cancer has affected many people close to me and I’ve seen the effect it can have on an individual and also the people close to them. I was set on raising money for cancer but wasn’t sure which Charity to go for. I wanted to do something more local so that it would help out people closer to my area, and after some research, I discovered Pasic. They are an East Midlands based Charity that devote themselves to making lives better for families of children with cancer all across local areas such as: Newark, Grantham, Lincoln, Nottingham, etc. They make a huge difference supporting families through tough times, and that’s something I want to be a part of. I have set a high Goal of £1,000 to be raised, which I know is a lot and may be unreachable, but to try to help add some fun to the fundraising, I will be doing a forfeit if we manage to reach our goal of £1,000. The forfeit in question I will be doing is if we reach the goal set, I will be running the Lincoln 10k race on April 12th in my infamous Frozone costume. This race will take place in the city centre of Lincoln in front of thousands of people watching but also racing.
