Hi I'm Ethan and in 2026 (just after my 15th birthday) I will be headed to Kenya and will contribute to African Adventure’s long term sustainable development plans of the partner schools in Kenya.

In partnership with Derby County Community Trust and African Adventures, we will work in partner schools who provide a free education for children from underprivileged backgrounds, and we will help support the long-term development of the schools.

Derby school pupils are travelling to Nakuru, Kenya in Summer 2026 to spend time volunteering at schools in a developing area of the country and It will soon be time to travel to Africa and July 2026 isn't that far away.

As part of my journey and the challenge of the trip which will see me help with teaching, sports coaching and building work at a school in Kenya I also have to do my own fund raising to pay for the trip to go on the challenging volunteer experience. I'm hoping this page can help to raise some of the money needed for the trip I will also be running some smaller fund raising activities from home, saving all my pocket money and washing my dads car repeatedly over the coming months.
