Story
Many people have been affected by dementia including our own family. Ethan and Neil have taken on this challenge and decided to raise funds for Alzheimer's society.
In the summer of 22 Neil and Ethan cycled from John O Groats in the far north I’d Scotland to Berwick upon Tweed at the English border.
On the 28th May 23 they set off to Berwick upon Tweed again. This time to complete the rest of the UK and cycle to Lands End.
It has been pretty gruelling and there have been a few grazes (thankfully no fall has been too bad); a puncture and a few bike repairs. Also far too many road closures!!
They are due to arrive at Lands End on the 6th June, having cycled over 800 miles.
Ethan decided it would be nice to raise money for a dementia charity, his grandfather, Neil’s dad Roddy passed away a few days before they started the cycle.
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.
Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
