Heritage Walk 2025: Reclaiming a Sacred Space · 5 July 2025 ·

This community walk, rooted in Isaiah 61:4, reconnects people with our town's spiritual landmarks, focusing on old churches. It invites reflection, prayer, and shared stories, while raising funds to restore and preserve one of these sacred spaces.

Story

On the 5th of July, 2025, I will be taking part in the Walk for Holy Trinity - a meaningful journey through Loughborough to raise funds for the restoration of Holy Trinity Church, a beautiful Grade it is part Trinity our shared story, our spiritual heritage, and a symbol of the kind of community we want to rebuild: welcoming, rooted in faith, and full of hope. Over the years, this sacred space has Holy fallen into disrepair. Now we have the chance to bring it back to life , not just as a historical monument, but as a living, breathing church home for all of us.

The Holy Trinity church ceased operations in 1996 it has been used for other purpose since then I will be paying and walking as my contribution to restoring this heritage building to its original use a place of worship that welcomes all l would be grateful if you can sponsor my fundraiser as I embark on this journey

There is something powerful about walking together with others, step by step, for a purpose bigger than ourselves. I will be one of 50 walkers, each of us moving not just with our feet, but with our hearts, driven by a vision of restoration, renewal, and belonging.

Help me reach my goal and be part of something lasting.
