In September I will be running the Great North Run in aid of PAPYRUS UK, a charity which focuses on the prevention of suicide in young people.

Within the last few years we have lost three close friends to suicide so this is a cause that is very important to me.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK. PAPYRUS exists to reduce the number of young people taking their own lives by shattering the stigma surrounding suicide and equipping young people and their communities with the skills to recognise and respond to emotional distress.
