We give financial and emotional help to grocery colleagues in need of support

Story

We are the Euro Food Brands three peaks challenge team.

After a year of planning and a few team changes along the way, we are excited to be undertaking the challenge in May 2023.

Adam Smith, Jamie Paterson, Gosia Rogalska, Paul Donovan, Paul MacDonald, Phil Gotch, Sam Baines, Shane Angus and Tracey Coley will be heading up to Scotland to start with Ben Nevis on Friday 19th May, followed by Scafell Pike on the morning of Saturday 20th May and finally Snowdon on the same afternoon. A total distance of 23 miles and a total ascent of 10,000 feet in just 24 hours! Michael Adams and Peter Butler will kindly be joining the team as the support crew.

This is a first for EFB and whilst we are team of varying experience (and fitness levels!), we are all enthusiastic and committed to embracing this challenge. As well as it being a great personal achievement, we are proud to be raising money for two charities – Grocery Aid and Sands.

GroceryAid is the charity that helps people across the whole of the grocery industry. GroceryAid currently helps thousands of grocery people financially and through the 24/7 freephone Helpline and will spend up to £4.7M on welfare support this year.
