Why Cancer Research UK?

It’s a life-changing charity. Cancer has repeatedly touched my life and those I love. While I’m not sharing all the details here, it’s something that’s close to my heart. As a junior doctor in 1992 my first job was in oncology and radiotherapy at the Royal London hospital. I’m in awe the treatment advances that have occurred since then.. My family and I (and countless people with cancer that I’ve supported individually as an occupational health doctor with adjustments at work have benefitted. The horizon is still bright for emerging treatment options, with your help.

I also believe in the power of Coaching which has helped me at various life stages. This is where you come in.
