Why Cancer Research UK?

Cancer has touched my life personally, and profoundly. While I’m not sharing all the details here, it’s something that’s close to my heart. I’ve also spent decades as a doctor supporting people living with cancer - helping them navigate diagnosis, treatment, remission, work, and life beyond or whilst living with cancer long-term.
