Tour de Vale Charity Bike Ride 2024 · 9 June 2024 ·

Join WheelPower, the national charity for Wheelchair Sport for their annual bike ride, The Tour de Vale. Buckinghamshire's biggest & best charity bike ride, starting & finishing at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, birthplace of the Paralympic Movement.

Story

9-year-old Eva and her dad Steve are biking the 25k Tour de Vale on 9th June to raise money for WheelPower who help transform lives through movement, activity & sport.

Eva was thrilled to take part in this event in 2023 and couldn’t wait to do it all over again! It’s already been a great experience to get outdoors again in this great weather of late (long may it continue?).

Whilst raising funds for a worthy cause, getting out to the fresh air and enjoying bike rides is a wholesome and enjoyable exercise for all ages so they truly appreciate your support.

By donating to their fundraiser, you’ll be aiding the many lives that WheelPower supports, as well as encouraging 9-year-old Eva in support of her endeavour.

All donations of any size are gratefully received! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Why WheelPower?

Steve is familiar with WheelPower from when he went swimming with the “Cub Scouts” at the Guttman Centre in Aylesbury back in the eighties. He saw first-hand the amazing achievements that WheelPower facilitated.

WheelPower provides aid, support, and encouragement for those with unique life challenges, turning disabilities into extra-abilities. For those with disabilities, WheelPower helps make the difference between “recovery” and “life transformation”.
