We are taking part in LOROS' Twilight Walk in memory of Zac Evatt.

Zac passed away in July 2025, age 43, following a cancer diagnosis. He was cared for by LOROS in his last couple of days which meant he was able to be visited by his loved ones, and even enjoyed an ice cold Coke which he had been longing for.

His death has been a huge shock to all of us, and although we miss him every day we wanted to honour his memory by taking part in LOROS' annual Twilight Walk. We may even be tempted to bring out some of his world-famous dance moves.

Zac was an adored husband, father, son, brother, nephew, grandson, friend and colleague. All donations will go towards helping families like ours receive much-needed support from LOROS. In a challenging fundraising environment which has caused LOROS to restrict some of their inpatient and outpatient offerings in the last year, every penny truly helps.

We are lighting up the streets of Leicester on Saturday 20th June for the flagship 10k sponsored LOROS Twilight Walk! 🌟

We’ll be walking in memory of loved ones, singing, dancing, and soaking up the fantastic entertainment along the route. Expect hundreds of walkers shining in their brightest, glitteriest outfits — the more glow, the better! ✨

When we cross that finish line and collect our medals, the celebrations will continue in true glitter-and-glow style. 🏅

We can’t wait to be part of an unforgettable evening of light, laughter, and community spirit — all for an incredible cause.
