40km Bike Packing Overnight Challenge for Child Hunger · 4 October 2025

World Vision believes that by working together with children, their communities, and our supporters and partners, the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children can be transformed. As a Christian organisation, we aspire to reflect God’s unconditional love in all we do.

Story

While at the Satellites summer camp we were challenged to raise money for child hunger. We were shocked to hear there is an estimated 50 million people across 45 countries on the brink of famine and more than half of them are children!

To raise money we are cycling (whatever the weather, but hoping for 😎) to Exmouth, camping by the sea and then cycling back the next day.

And if you think that sounds a challenge... we're also going to spend the whole time WITHOUT OUR PHONES! 😱

This will happen on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th October.

We appreciate any donations you can give towards this great cause!

Thanks!

At World Vision, our focus is on helping the world's most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience fullness of life. For over 75 years, we have worked together with communities - of all faiths and none - even in the most dangerous places, inspired by our Christian faith. World Vision is reaching one new person with clean water every ten seconds and reaches three more schools every day with clean water.
