Help me spread the word about this fantastic Orchestra! 🎶

The London Musical Theatre Orchestra (LMTO) is the UK’s specialist orchestra dedicated to musical theatre. With their support, I have had many opportunities that I otherwise would have never had the chance to experience. In 2022, I auditioned as a “Dev” to be part of their (newly reworked) Development scheme, which gave me the chance to perform at the London Palladium as part of Planet Rock’s Zeppelin Symphonic orchestra, and later to perform for ITV’s New Years Eve Big Bash with the Lioness Big Band.

Over the past few years, since graduating from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with a PGCert in Theatre Woodwind Doubling, regularly attending LMTO workshops and Sitzes has helped to nurture my post-uni development by providing support from some of London’s top West-End musicians.

Without this gateway from LMTO, experiences such as these would have seemed miles away, and I’m so grateful for the knowledge I’ve absorbed from being in their bubble for only a short number of years. So, it’s about time I make it up to them by getting my plod on and raising some money!
