The YMCA has changed my life forever. As a young person, it provided a safe place for me while my parents were working, a place to learn to swim and a place to workout after school, but most importantly it provided a place for me to BELONG. I have always felt at home at the Y and the people I've met through the organization are like none other. I'm passionate about creating that same feeling of safety and belonging for EVERYONE in our community and I'm asking you to support me during our Day of Giving campaign celebrating 150 years of serving Charlotte.

There are many issues facing our community, but thankfully the Y is uniquely positioned to help meet many of these needs through inclusive programming and good ole fashion love for humanity!
