Just when you thought January would be spent on the sofa, eating leftover chocolate coins, and counting down the days until the 6 Nations starts, it is back, Doddie Aid 2024!

Story

Raising money for this great charity who support people living with MND and who are actively seeking better treatments and one day hopefully a cure for this awful disease.

Our good friend Scott was diagnosed with MND in March and he is our inspiration to do this. We haven’t put ourself forward for one of these challenges before as we don’t particularly enjoy the Scottish winters much preferring to support others from the comfort of our sofa but this year is different! Scott and his lovely wife Robyn are such amazing people who are tackling this disease head on, living life to the fullest and raising much needed awareness and funds for the brilliant MND charities. The least we can do is get off the sofa and take ourselves for a run (more like shuffle for Evie) and do 100km each in January around the outskirts of some East Lothian’s golf courses - a sport close to Scott’s heart and one he has excelled in.

If any family and friends have a few spare pennies and would like to encourage us with a donation we would be very grateful!

Thanks for reading this far - the running shoes are ready and waiting!
