Kate worked for this charity for many years, offering counselling and support for bereaved families. Initially, she was involved supporting families who had been affected by The Alder Hey organs scandal in the late 1990s and went on to work with them on other projects.

Child Bereavement UK help children and young people (up to age 25), parents, and families, to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. They also provide training to professionals, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.
