Hi! My name is Evelyn, a third year undergraduate at the University of Warwick and I'll be taking on trekking Machu Picchu in aid of Hft in August 2026.

Hft is a transformative charity that does amazing work to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities, providing community, friendship and most importantly independence and choice.

From residential care, supported living to helping people find and maintain meaningful connections, Hft is a charity that is pushing to transform the attitude and language used for those with learning disabilities. Striving to give disabled adults and their families support and a fun, fulfilling life.

As someone who has people in my close circle with learning disabilities and special needs, this charity’s work is particularly close to me.

This is my first time fundraising let alone climbing a mountain! But I’m always up for a challenge and to know my work will go towards a fantastic cause makes it all the more special.

Any donation you can make however big or small is more than appreciated! I’m excited to start this journey and hopefully reach this goal!
