This July, a group of us from Evercore will head west to take on the Gower Peninsula Ultra Challenge. It is, depending on your perspective, either an invigorating coastal trek or a questionable life decision involving 25, 42, or 50 kilometers of Welsh terrain.

We are doing this in support of Magic Breakfast!

Magic Breakfast exists because, right now, 1 in 7 children in the UK arrive at school too hungry to learn. The effects of morning hunger are stark- children struggling to concentrate, complaining of headaches or stomach pain, falling asleep in class, acting out, or withdrawing altogether. Hungry children don’t learn, and the impact can last far beyond the school gates.

Your support can make a life changing difference. We’re aiming to raise enough funds to support Magic Breakfast partner schools local to our London office in Victoria as well as other schools across England. It costs just 34p to provide a child with a Magic Breakfast. By raising £50,000, we hope to fund over 147,000 breakfasts - enough to support more than 750 children every school day for an entire academic year.
