Eversheds Sutherland fundraiser for Leeds South and East Foodbank

Eversheds Sutherland Leeds is raising money for Leeds South and East Foodbank
“World Food Day”
We run 10 foodbank outlets where we support people in genuine food crisis in Leeds, by suppling 3 days of nutritionally balanced food alongside offering signposting to other agencies who aid with financial support. We rely on donations of both food and money to offer this support across the city.

Story

In aid of our international World Food Day campaign, Eversheds Sutherland Leeds will be raising funds and collecting food donations for our chosen charity, Leeds South and East Foodbank.

As part of this partnership, a group of our Leeds colleagues will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on 6th September 2025. The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge route is 24 miles (38.6km) and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent in under 12 hours.

Leeds South and East Foodbank started in October 2013, with one Distribution Centre, which has now increased to 10 Distribution Centres across South and East Leeds.

There are many reasons why people need help from the Foodbank, such as low income, benefit changes and delays, delayed wages, and various other situations.

Leeds South and East Foodbank provides three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis.

As a firm, we are committed to helping alleviate food poverty in our communities as part of the 'poverty' pillar of our Community strategy, which we achieve through targeted intervention and donation.
