Story
Hi everyone I am Mark Crowther the Mad Hatter !!
So after conquering the Championship in 21/22 and the Premier League in 23/24 I am back on 2 wheels to take on the challenge of cycling to all of Luton Town's away League 1 and cup games in 26/27 season while supporting a number of incredible charities.
The OLLIE Foundation (One Life Lost is Enough) is a registered charity funding suicide intervention skills training for adults working with young people.
Since our registration in 2016 we have trained over 20,000 people in suicide prevention.
Your fundraising helps us train even more people, break down the stigma attached to suicide, and increase awareness!
The OLLIE Foundation delivers a wide range of suicide prevention and well-being programmes designed to empower people at every level of society. Its work includes: awareness talks, accredited training courses, postvention and bereavement support for those affected by suicide. OLLIE’s training offer includes recognised programmes such as ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) and Mental Health First Aid all of which focus on early intervention and building confidence in responding to crisis situations as well as accessible and practical sessions.
Since its inception, the organisation has trained more than 27,000 people, working with schools, colleges, universities, workplaces, NHS trusts, and community groups. By providing practical tools and encouraging open conversations about suicide and mental health, OLLIE is helping to reduce stigma and increase understanding.
At the heart of OLLIE’s work is a clear and powerful mission: to equip individuals, organisations and communities with the skills, knowledge and confidence to recognise the signs of distress and offer effective support to those at risk. Through this approach, the charity aims to ensure that no one feels suicide is their only option.
